How can we effectively judge whether the car shock absorber is in normal working condition?

1. Drive the car on a road with poor conditions, stop after driving 10km, and touch the shell of the shock absorber with your hands. If it is not hot enough, it means that there is no resistance inside the shock absorber and the shock absorber does not work. At this time, you can add appropriate lubricating oil, and then carry out the test. If the shell is hot, it means that the shock absorber is short of oil inside, and you should add enough oil. Otherwise, the shock absorber has failed.

2. Press the bumper hard and then release it. If the car jumps 2~3 times, it means that the shock absorber is working well. Otherwise, it is not working properly.

3. When the car is running slowly and brakes suddenly, if the car vibrates violently, it means that the shock absorber is not working properly.

4. Remove the shock absorber and stand it upright, clamp the lower connecting ring on the vise, and pull and press the shock absorber several times. At this time, there should be stable resistance, and the resistance of pulling up should be greater than that of pressing down. If the resistance is unstable or there is no resistance, it may be that the shock absorber is short of oil inside or the valve parts are damaged, and the parts should be repaired or replaced.

Judgment of shock absorber oil leakage and abnormal noise

In case of oil leakage, first check whether the oil seal gasket, sealing gasket is broken or damaged, and whether the oil storage cylinder head nut is loose. If the oil seal or gasket is damaged and fails, replace it with a new one. If the oil leakage still cannot be eliminated, the shock absorber should be pulled out. If you feel that the weight is different for a while, then further check whether the gap between the piston and the cylinder is too large, whether the piston connecting rod of the shock absorber is bent, whether the surface of the piston connecting rod and the cylinder Check the barrel for scratches or pull marks. If the shock absorber has no oil leakage, check the shock absorber connecting pins, connecting rods, connecting holes, rubber bushings, etc. for damage, desoldering, cracking or falling off. If the above inspection is normal, the shock absorber should be further disassembled to check whether the matching gap between the piston and the cylinder is too large, whether the cylinder is strained, whether the valve seal is good, whether the valve disc and the valve seat are tightly bonded, and whether the shock absorber is tight. Check whether the extension spring of the vibrator is too soft or broken, and repair it by grinding or replacing parts according to the situation. Finally, the shock absorber will have a sound failure in actual use, which is mainly caused by the collision between the shock absorber and the leaf spring, frame or axle, the rubber pad is damaged or falls off, and the shock absorber dust-proof tube is deformed , lack of oil and other reasons, the cause should be found out and repaired
